A Membership-Driven Apex Council for Integrated Academic & Skill Excellence
To promote, expand, and develop secondary, higher, vocational, and skill education as an integrated ecosystem that fosters academic excellence, employability, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness.
To function as a democratic, transparent, and membership-driven council representing institutions, educators, skill providers, industry partners, and allied stakeholders across the education ecosystem.
To create structured pathways integrating vocational and skill education with secondary schools, colleges, and universities—enabling credit mobility, dual-track programs, apprenticeship models, industry-aligned curricula, and lifelong learning opportunities.
To represent the collective voice of member institutions before governments, regulatory authorities, commissions, and policy bodies at national and state levels.
To collaborate with the Government of India, State Governments, Union Territories, foreign governments, multilateral bodies, and global institutions to align education with workforce development and future economic needs.
To define and continuously enhance quality benchmarks and accreditation frameworks for academic, vocational, and skill-based programs, including emerging disciplines aligned with the new-age economy.
To articulate transparent and equitable principles governing education and to establish a comprehensive code of ethics and professional conduct for member institutions.
To organize and participate in seminars, workshops, skill expos, trade fairs, research summits, and international roadshows to strengthen collaboration between academia, skill providers, and industry.
To collect, analyze, and disseminate educational data, research insights, and labor market intelligence to guide institutional planning and policy reform.
To examine complaints received against member institutions and recommend appropriate investigations and corrective measures to uphold transparency and credibility.
To prepare, publish, and distribute journals, research reports, policy papers, magazines, and digital publications supporting academic and skill advancement.
To establish and support libraries, reading rooms, innovation hubs, incubation centers, skill labs, training centers, and digital learning platforms.
To supervise professional standards among members and frame guidelines to ensure adherence to ethical, academic, and administrative best practices.
To establish funds, scholarships, grants, insurance mechanisms, and benevolent initiatives benefiting educational professionals and member institutions.
To secure recognition, accreditation status, statutory approvals, and global affiliations enhancing the standing of the Council and its members.
To mobilize resources through memberships, subscriptions, donations, grants, strategic partnerships, and corpus creation to ensure long-term sustainability.
To institute scholarships, fellowships, medals, and awards recognizing academic excellence, skill achievement, innovation, and leadership in education.
To nominate advisers, delegates, and representatives from among its members to regional, national, and international forums and conferences.
To obtain charters, statutory recognition, or legislative instruments enabling the Council to effectively pursue its mission.
To ensure that the Council’s initiatives benefit society at large and contribute to inclusive growth, employability, and national development.
To conduct funded and non-funded research and provide consultancy services to governments, accreditation bodies, industry, and international organizations.
To enter into MOUs and MOAs with educational institutions, corporates, sector skill councils, foundations, and global bodies for mutual advancement of integrated education.
To promote apprenticeship systems, industry certifications, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), credit transfers, entrepreneurship programs, and start-up incubation initiatives.
To create platforms for professors, visiting faculty, skill trainers, research scholars, and international academic exchanges.
To establish or support institutions, entities, or initiatives that advance the Council’s objectives directly or indirectly.
To undertake or subcontract projects aligned with the Council’s mission to deliver measurable impact across education and skill development.
To recognize individuals and institutions in India and abroad that have rendered exceptional service in advancing education and skill integration.
To build a seamless and synergistic education–skill ecosystem where secondary education, higher education, vocational training, and industry operate as complementary pillars of national progress.
