02.Key Responsibilities
A. Student Career Guidance
- Conduct structured career awareness sessions in schools & colleges
- Guide students on career options after 10th / 12th
- Graduation & professional courses
- Competitive examinations
- Skill-based and vocational careers
- Entrepreneurship pathways
- Help students identify Interests, Strengths, Aptitude, Suitable career pathways
B. Rural & Remote Area Outreach (Special Focus)
In rural and underserved regions, counsellors will:
- Organize village-level awareness programs
- Educate parents about modern and emerging career opportunities
- Create awareness about Government schemes, Scholarships, Skill India initiatives, Digital education platforms
- Help reduce school dropouts
- Encourage girls’ education and structured career planning
- Promote vocational training and local employment opportunities

C. Digital & Online Guidance
- Conduct webinars and virtual counselling sessions
- Provide guidance via WhatsApp, phone calls, and video platforms
- Share digital career resources
- Assist students with online applications for Universities, Colleges, Scholarships, Entrance examinations
D. Documentation & Accountability
- Maintain records of students counselled
- Track follow-ups and measurable outcomes
- Submit monthly activity reports
- Collect structured feedback from institutions and students
